Pemberton Wine Region

Pemberton, located in Western Australia, is a rising star in the world of wine. Its cool coastal climate and diverse soils make it an ideal location for growing grapes, particularly Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and SSB. Winemakers in the region are known for experimenting with different styles and techniques, and sparkling wines made from Pinot Noir grapes are particularly promising.

The Pinot Noir variety of Pemberton are renowned for their elegant and complex flavours, which are well-suited to the region’s cool climate. These wines display the characteristics of the famous Burgundian Pinots.

Pemberton Chardonnays are known for their bright, citrusy flavours and crisp acidity. Many of these wines are fermented and have ageing in oak barrels, which adds complexity and depth to the final product.

In addition to its wines, Pemberton is also known for its towering karri tree forests and abundance of national parks. Visitors to the region can climb the karri tree towers for stunning views or enjoy leisurely afternoons among the bushland overlooking the national park and Warren River. Pemberton is situated about four hours South of Perth, and it is the perfect destination for anyone who loves wine and the great outdoors.
