Amato Vino is a boutique winery located in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. Established in 2003 by Brad Wehr, the winery is known for its small-batch, artisan approach to winemaking, embracing a 'lo-fi' philosophy that includes wild fermentations, minimal intervention, and traditional methods. Amato Vino's 'lo-fi' approach focuses on gentle handling and minimal adjustments during the winemaking process. This includes practices such as wild fermentations, using little or no inputs, and employing traditional processes. Most wines are unfined and unfiltered, aiming to express the true character of the grapes and the terroir.
