Join us for our first masterclass of 2026! Shepherd’s Hut Wines is named after a restored 1850s stone hut, once used by shepherds along the Kalgan River. Built from honey-colored Mt Barker stone, the hut reflects the region’s heritage. Established in 1996, this family-owned winery prioritizes quality over quantity, a philosophy applied from vineyard to marketing. Best known for its exceptional Pinot Noir, Shepherd’s Hut specializes in small-batch winemaking and meticulous vineyard management. Their Reserve Pinot Noir is particularly celebrated for its complexity and aging potential. The vineyard, planted on north-facing slopes, also produces Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wines on tasting:-
Grazing platter/nibbles including cheese, meats, crackers, etc served at the tastings free of charge.
