Philippe Bornard Melon Le Rouge Queue Magnum 1.5 Litre
The local name of the grape is Melon-Queue-Rouge, different to Melon de Bourgogne which is a distant cousin. Strangely enough the French appellation law doesn't even recognise its existence.
An oxidative wine, if you enjoy that experience, with big fruits and laser sharp acidity that cuts through the sweetness of the fruit. Full bodied, rich and downright delicious.
