Hand harvested grapes of 90% Tempranillo and the balance of Garnacha from two vineyard sites at 470 metres ASL make up this flavoursome, complex and interesting wine. It has spent two years in old bordelaise barrels.
A deep garnet colour and a nose of ripe fruit – figs and cherry plus violets with a hint of caramel from the oak. The palate is velvety with flavours of blackberry, coffee and coconutty oak. Drink now with robust meals.
