Vine age 60 years.
This wine - a blend of muscat petit grains, grenache noir, syrah - is made by the cult figure of Tom Lubbe who moved into the area of Coteaux du Fenouillèdes in 2001 and immediately took over a run down old vineyard. The vineyard is now biodynamic and is run so well that all of his wines have absolutely no additions.
The Brutal label is an open source label that has come to signify that a wine is part of the raw wine movement. Brutal wines have a reputation as being bizarre, but in fact it's actually just a wine a winemaker decided to experiment with.
