Terre à Terre
Each year, the hand-harvested fruit is fermented in a mixture of small 1-tonne fermenters and 9-tonne Potter fermenters. The must is then pressed off skins and racked into barriques and Foudres for malolactic fermentation and ageing. The wine is aged in oak for a total period of 18-24 months, depending on the vintage.
The Terre à Terre Rouge is a variation of the classic Australian blend of Cabernet Shiraz. The fruit will always come from cool climate, and therefore the wine will always have bright fruit flavours and elegance.
