This wine is a brilliant deep red in colour, with a vibrant purple hue. The bouquet displays lively aromatics of berry fruits, cherry and blueberry, with hints of chocolate, white pepper and star anise spice. Hints of vanilla and coffee bean derived from oaked maturation complement the spice. The palate is bright and fresh, bursting with cherry, plum and chocolate characters. Maturation with French oak has provided mocha and coffee notes. The soft, tight grained tannin knits the palate well and provides structure and length to the wine.
