Charles Melton utilize a multitude of wine making techniques to produce complex high quality national and international award winning wines in the South Australian, Barossa Valley Region.
Nice deep warm crimson tones. A definite cool site quiet pepper/spice nose. Not overly assertive at this stage but tight knit and dark chocolate fruits. The finishing post ferment maturation of 15 months in 100% new French oak is seamless. It is there but doesn’t stand out as a separate component. The palate is poised, more mid weight than blockbuster but with real density and roundness.
