The Horseshoe vineyard was established in the Hunter Valley in 1969 by the Hordern family.
They had the foresight to plant Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz, the best varieties from the Hunter.
The nose shows fresh pear and stone fruit with a touch of spice and musk, further evident in the palate, which is light and zingy, withan intense sherbet finish.
