The combination of bright, fruity perfumed aromas singing from the glass, and the fresh, crunchy acidity in the mouth, are a match for any quality Sauvignon Blanc. Albarinos tend to offer more length, structure and texture on the finish - making them excellent food wines. This classic example of Albarino displays refreshing lime, grapefruit aromas and an underlying assortment of tropical fruits. The palate is equally invigorating, and shows a complexity (and depth) not often shown in un-oaked whites. The finish is dry, lean and lingering". Albarino is a grape variety native to the cool damp province of N.W Spain called 'Galicia'. Its key characters are perfumed, floral, pear, citrus and a vibrant acid flavour and structure.
