Fraser Gallop Estate SSB white wine hails has been awarded as a 5 Star winery rated by the James Halliday Wine Companion, in the award winning local WA Margaret River Region. Producing single vineyard top quality internationally award winning wines, by world award winning master wine maker, Clive Otto.
At Fraser Gallop they believe that by creating a wine dominant in Semillon they highlight the strength of the variety in the Wilyabrup sub-region. The relative warmth of the area compared to the sub-regions further south allows them to ripen the Semillon beyond the herbal elements, achieving golden bunches with a strong citrus flavour. This is complemented by the Sauvignon Blanc, which they source from further south in Karridale and Wallcliffe. Coming from a cooler area it has zesty acid and punchy aromatics giving the wine some lovely passionfruit and gooseberry notes on the nose.
