Tony Bornard Ploussard La Chamade
This Ploussard is exactly the style of wine we have come to prefer. Darker in colour than other wines made from this grape, long on flavour and with a soft and silky mouth feel.
There is an earthiness about this wine but the finish is reminiscent of cherries that have been lightly spiced.
The grapes are macerated for three weeks in fibreglass tanks and the wine is then aged in one of the large wooden foudres that line his winery for a year before the wine is bottled.
