A bright, easy-going red with plenty of charm, savoury intrigue and a seriously impressive value-for-money feel.
This opens with a lively rush of red fruit: cherry, raspberry and cranberry, threaded with cedar, gentle spice and a faintly earthy undertone. Mint and floral notes lift the aromatics, giving it a fresh, inviting edge.
The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and immediately likeable, with red fruits at the centre and a subtle savoury detail that brings to mind smoked bone broth or cured meat. The tannins have a fine, lightly grainy feel, adding shape without heaviness, while a cool, stony impression runs through the finish. Bright, balanced and satisfying, with good length and plenty of personality for the price.
