The palate has an interesting and specific shape to it – the expected delicate, spice laden entry (think cherry, red currant, hints of pomegranate, suggestions of anise and white pepper – laced up by strawberry, olive and brine) steps up on the mid-palate, smoothing out to resemble a domed, seamless representation of silky fruit; the finish gently pluming (not to the scale of the estate or Tete, but admirably for the price range) into a full display of pinot flavour and texture.
