Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Pretty aromas of violets, red and sour cherries, winter strawberries and clove unfurl from the glass with hints of stalk and spice also evident. Light in body, elegant sour to red cherry fruits overlay earth, dried herbs and spice. Fresh acidity lends an energetic feel with fine grained, slightly dusty tannins leading into a savoury red fruited finish.
