La Báscula
La Bascula have crafted this wine with Borja Ripa of Bodegas Manzanos in Azagra, Rioja Baja. Produced from grapes sourced mainly from the bodega's own vineyards - 70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha, and harvested mid-September 2016. The wine was aged for an average of 9 months in a variety of French and American oak barrels.
Aromas of berries and warm spice with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is generous with beautifully complex red berry and spicy fruit, supple tannins, juicy acidity and a hint of black pepper. All balanced by mocha and toasty notes from oak maturation.
