Hatch Barossa Shiraz St John
The 2022 vintage in the Northern Barossa produced aromatic Shiraz fruit with great depth and richness. Fruit for HATCH St Johns Shiraz was fermented on skins in small open top fermenters with gentle plunging and irrigation for 5-10 days to make a powerful, full bodied and opulent wine with vibrance and purity. The palate has dark red fruits, is round, soft with seductive oak and silky tannins. HATCH is delicious now however you will be rewarded with medium to long-term cellaring. Enjoy with barbequed, roasted, grilled or slow cooked red meats particularly beef. It also pairs perfectly with spicy Asian meat dishes.
