Battles Granitis Shiraz 2023
High winter rainfall, followed by a mild summer allowed the grapes to ripen gradually and build flavour. This is the third release of this wine, which has a great customer following.
Granítis (grani’ths) is the Greek word for Granite and this unique bedrock is present throughout the vineyard. A select parcel was given extended maturation in a single French oak puncheon to build further depth and complexity. The resulting wine is a true reflection of the soil in which it’s grown.
