American oak barrels play host to this rum where it ages for three to four years. Next the rum ages in Ferrand French oak casks for a further one to two years. The result is a subtle and tropical Barbadian style rum, excellent for aperitifs or classic cocktails like the Mai Tai.
Aromas of calves' leather and caramel with a hint of cinnamon, dried coconut and vanilla fill the nose. On the palate, experience a sweet entry, with molasses and hints of leather, orange rind and salted butter. The finish is very sweet with fiery spices nearing the end.
