The 2024 Higher Plane ‘Jewels of Karridale’ Chardonnay comes from the cool southern reaches of Margaret River in Western Australia, where Karridale’s maritime influence brings natural freshness and finesse. The wine opens with aromas of white peach, nectarine and lemon zest, layered with subtle hints of cashew and struck match. On the palate, it is refined and beautifully textured, showing ripe stone fruit and citrus wrapped in gentle, well-integrated oak. A bright line of acidity provides balance and drive, leading to a long, elegant finish with a delicate savoury edge.
