A standout in our blind tasting, the Teusner The Riebke impressed us with its richness, balance and sheer drinkability, reflecting the quality of the excellent 2021 Barossa vintage. We loved its generous layers of ripe plum, blackberry and dark cherry, supported by liquorice, chocolate and warm spice. Full and plush on the palate, fresh acidity and savoury tannins keep the wine beautifully composed through its long, richly spiced finish. Pair with a slow-cooked beef brisket, lamb cutlets, sticky ribs or smoky hard cheese.
