Swings and Roundabouts Backyard Stories 2020 Chardonnay white wine was scored 94 points by James Halliday Wine Companion. The first stop you take the kids when visiting the Margaret River Wine Region that allows you to enjoy some great wine while the kids get their legs loose after the drive down!
Fine and pure Chardonnay fruit aromas of white stone fruits, some lifted floral aromas and mealy complexity complemented with integrated high quality French oak. Natural Fermentation adds further complexity to the nose.
A tightly structured, minerally, very fine palate, with great length and persistence. This is a classical Chardonnay and with further cellaring will reward those with patience. Fruit flavour dominance will see a fine Chardonnay expression in the future.
Pork is a fine accompaniment.
