Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe nectarine, bees wax and lemon butter mix with biscuity oak, citrusy nougat, light almond and spice notes. Rich peach and nectarine fruits are texturally well rounded with elements of bees wax, lemon butter, biscuity oak and spicy nougat sitting underneath. Finishes with good freshness and a refined Burgundian like aftertaste.
This wine is full of fruit richness which has a fruit-sweet edge (not sugar). Acidity and end-of-palate grip are subtly tucked-in behind the fruits, but they fill the palate and add completeness and balance. Easy drinking on its own or suitable with seafoods and pasta.
